How can I “Ask” for a review?

With the help of Rivista, you can ask your client to review in two simple steps.

Type in your client's name and select the mode to send the review request link.

Select your relationship with the client, and describe your intent to them.

How can I upload my projects on Rivista?

Uploading a portfolio on Rivista is as easy as it gets.

You can select Images along with the Title and Descriptions for your work project. You can add links to the description as well. Rivista also lets you mention particular skills that were used in that respective project.

How do I share my Profile?

Top right of the about section, there is a share button, which enables you to share your profile via link or via various different social media platforms.

On your profile, click on the Top right of the “About” section, click on the share button. And seamlessly share your profile via link or via various different social media platforms.

What are skills?

“Skills” are the particular expertise and dexterity that you master throughout your career. You can select a particular skill, which will be highlighted on your profile. Skills are subject to selection for any client during granting a review.

What are traits?

“Traits” are the specific characteristics that you possess and showcase during your time working with a client. They are more qualitative in nature and specific to your personality as observed by the client.. Clients can specify traits while reviewing, highlighting your overall traits stats in the profile. Unlike “Skills”, Traits are something that only the reviewer can select for you and not you.

Who can give me a review?

We at Rivista, encourage ‘asking for a review’ as a measure towards getting the appreciation that you deserve. You can request testimonials from anyone who you have worked with or contributed to their project. Only the person with a review request link can give you a review.

Who can view my profile ?

You have the authority when it comes to your profile visibility. Only the people who you share your profile link with can see your profile.

How much time do I have to wait in order to request another review from the same client/person?

Once you have requested a review from a client/person and the review is completed, then you will have to wait a minimum of 60 days before you can request another review.

Will uploading testimonials I already have to the platform earn me stars/ratings?

No, uploading reviews received prior to joining Rivista on different platforms will not earn you stars/ratings unless and until it is verified by the reviewer themselves on Rivista.

What happens when my request for a review/testimonials expires? Can I resend the request?

Once the link expires, you will need to generate a new request that will need to be resent to the reviewer for them to properly review your profile.

Who all can review my work/profile? What do they need to show in order to review?

You can request anyone to review your profile/portfolio/work. You have to define the relationship you share with them as well as share the link to their LinkedIn profile before the request goes out. The reviewer will be verified via their Phone Number through an OTP. Post verification they can give their review.

Does the reviewer need to create an account on Rivista to publish a review?

No, the reviewer need not create or have a profile on Rivista to give a review requested by the reviewee.

Who can see the reviews given to me?

The reviews can be seen by anyone with whom the user shares their profile. The reviews can also be shared on the social media handles of the user using the social share option.

After how long can the same reviewer publish another review?

The reviewer may put another review requested by the reviewee after a period of 60 days.

Can the reviewer edit the relationship selected by the user?
